Our head office is in Stavanger, with additional offices in Bergen, Hammerfest and Notodden. Our subsidiary in Poland (Krakow and Katowice) is providing support on projects within multi-discipline engineering.

Moreld Apply was established in 1979 as an engineering design contractor for the oil and gas industry. Since then, the company has progressed to become a supplier of complete turnkey projects for maintenance, modifications and operations support contracts for onshore and offshore facilities.

Moreld Apply has currently around 1700 people employed and is part of the Moreld Group.

Purpose of the position
Ensure that all commercial aspects are met in the main contract together with the Project Manager

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Identify areas for commercial improvements and implement measures
  • Identify commercial risks and implement measures to mitigate risk
  • Contract responsible for risk and change management, financial reporting, cost controlling and estimation, including invoicing and forecasting
  • Manager for the Contract cost control and estimation team
  • Prepare reports to the client in line with contract requirements and conduct meetings with client for relevant aspects as required
  • Monitor project performance and together with Project Manager implement measure to secure that financial targets are met
  • Conduct commercial contract support and training in the project organization

Formal qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant industry experience. Experience as project manager can be relevant
  • Experience from offshore projects is an advantage
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (economics, law, engineering)
  • Long relevant experience and/or additional qualifications can compensate for lack of relevant formal education
  • Experience with cross functional team work
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
