For the use of chlorine removal. Sodium bisulfite is a chemical that is often used as an alternative to remove chlorine from seawater and freshwater drinking water system. It absorbs oxygen dissolved in water and is used as a means of corrosion in water tanks, iron pipes and the like.
Ambio Sodium Bisulphite 20% is considered by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health not to be harmful to health through drinking water.
